1. Why are the various Fundamental Handling Workshop conducted at SDW exclusive to Sony product owners only?
SDW was created to provide for all Sony customers an avenue to expand their product usage. While some of our products share similar features as other brands’, there are many that are exclusively Sony’s. Our priority is to cater our courses to enhance a Sony product user’s experience of his or her product. |

3. What are the courses available for digital video or digital still cameras?
SDW conduct a variety of courses for both digital video and digital still cameras. They range from basic to advanced techniques for camera handling, and courses catering to specific camera models or features.
Apart from camera handling courses; we also have a wide range of other courses. From experience classes like our Underwater Photography for customers who’s looking for a hands-on experience using our underwater compatible cameras, to overseas workshops to Cambodia that touches on the photography aspect.
The beauty of the courses conducted at SDW is that they are "progressive", meaning SDW conducts courses from Basic to Advanced levels.

4. What other courses are available at SDW?
Apart from the running courses, SDW also conduct specialize course like Night Photography or Experiencing DSLR on a regular or seasonal basis. |

5. Why does SDW not conduct courses on software applications that are bundled with Sony products, like the Pixela Imagemixer?
At present, SDW is conducting a video-editing course —Video Editing with Vegas Moviestudio. We are in the process of starting more of such courses in time to come, check back with us at support.sony.com.sg/sdw for regular course updates. |

1. How do I check for availability dates on courses?
Simply click on the “Register” icon at the bottom of the course overview page, and you’ll be asked to select a month, date and time of you are interested in. If you are not able to turn up for all the assigned dates, please check for the new schedule for the courses. This will be updated on every first week of the month. |

2. How many times can I reschedule my course?
You may reschedule your course a maximum of 3 times. Simply click on the “Reschedule” icon in the course overview page. However, in the unfortunate event that you may need to reschedule more than usual, please call our Customer Contact Centre at 65448600 for assistance. However, complimentary courses are not allowed to reschedule. |

3. I have a Handycam; can I still attend the digital still camera course? Will it be beneficial to me?
If you want to improve your Handycam handling skills, we recommend that you sign up for the Fundamental Handycam Handling (Mini DV / DVD / HDD) course as it also touches on the features and accessories related to Handycams. But you may also consider attending one of our photo editing classes (on a seasonal basis) if you own a Handycam with the ability to capture still images on a Memory Stick. |

4. Where can I register the course held at SDW?

5. If I don’t have an email address or a printer can I still register for the course?
It is recommended that you have a valid email address, as this is our preferred mode of communication. If this is not an option, you may register for a course with a friend’s or family members' or a company’s email address. As for printing of confirmation letter, as long as you can show that you had received the confirmation e-mail sent out by us (such as soft-copy / or course reference number), you can still register for the class. |

1. Why are the courses at SDW not free of charge?
The courses conducted at SDW are value-added courses, giving you more than instruction manuals. Our courses not only cover the fundamentals, they also go beyond the textbook with hints and tips from professionals hired by Sony.
All our courses are taught by professionals, and you can expect to speed up your learning curve within a shorter span of time. These courses conducted are mostly expensive when you sign up at other places. At SDW, we partially subsidized these courses, so you can afford to fully explore your Sony product. We also keep our course attendance small, giving you more contact time with the course trainer. Every attendee is also allocated a personal computer to fully grasp the course taught hands-on! |

2. Can I pay cash on the day of the course, as I do not have any cheque or credit card?
Credit Card or cheque are our preferred mode of payment. Please be advice that a 5 days buffer is required for all cheque payment. |

3. If my cheque does not arrive on time as specified in the email, can I still attend the course?
Our staff may contact you a few days before the commencement of the course with regards to the status of your payment. They will then advise you accordingly. |
